Terms of Service
The plain-language terms that apply when you schedule service, drop off equipment, or work with Tyler’s Tech Services.
Last updated: July 2026
These Terms of Service explain how Tyler J. Bigley DBA Tyler’s Tech Services works with customers: scheduling, deposits, payments, warranties, data, and the limits that keep service fair for everyone. They are written to be read, not just scrolled past.
Introduction
By scheduling service, submitting a form, accepting a quote, dropping off equipment, using remote support, or allowing work to begin, you agree to these Terms of Service.
Tyler’s Tech Services (formerly Assure Computer Solutions) provides appointment-based computer repair, home technology help, small business IT, and practical automation and AI guidance in Temple, Belton, and surrounding Central Texas areas.
Appointment-based service
Tyler’s Tech Services works by appointment. Please schedule before dropping off a device, stopping by, or expecting on-site service. Availability is generally 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM by appointment.
Estimates, quotes, and approvals
Estimates are based on the information available at the time and may change if additional issues are found during diagnostics or repair.
Parts, hardware repairs, larger projects, or changes in scope require your approval before moving forward when practical.
Prices may change due to parts availability, shipping, supplier changes, or newly discovered issues.
Diagnostic deposit
A $75 diagnostic deposit applies to diagnostic work. The deposit is generally applied toward approved repairs or scheduled appointments.
If you decline the repair, cancel, do not proceed, or do not respond, the deposit may not be refunded. It covers the diagnostic time already spent on your device.
Payments
Payment is due when service is completed, unless otherwise agreed. Invoices may be sent through Invoice Ninja and paid through Stripe or PayPal.
Equipment may be held until payment is received, where allowed by law. You are responsible for approved parts, labor, and applicable charges.
Parts and customer-provided parts
Tyler’s Tech Services can source parts for your repair, or you may provide your own parts.
Customer-provided parts can save money, but they may delay the repair if shipping runs late or the part arrives incorrect, defective, incompatible, or at the wrong place.
- Customer-provided parts are not warrantied by Tyler’s Tech Services.
- Labor on customer-provided parts may still be charged even if the part turns out to be defective or incompatible.
- Tyler’s Tech Services is not responsible for manufacturer or seller issues with customer-provided parts.
Data backup and data loss
Tyler’s Tech Services makes reasonable efforts to avoid data loss and may back up customer data when appropriate, but data loss can still happen during diagnostics, repair, software work, drive failure, malware cleanup, operating system repair, upgrades, data transfer, or remote support.
Please back up first
You are responsible for maintaining your own backups before service whenever possible. Tyler’s Tech Services is not liable for lost, corrupted, deleted, or unrecoverable data, files, software, licenses, passwords, or settings.
Data recovery is best effort and is not guaranteed.
Repair risks and pre-existing conditions
Electronic devices can have hidden or pre-existing problems. Opening, testing, cleaning, updating, or repairing devices can reveal issues that were already present.
Tyler’s Tech Services is not responsible for pre-existing damage or failures, including:

- Battery swelling
- Motherboard failure

Remote support
By starting a remote support session, you authorize Tyler’s Tech Services to access, view, and control your device during that scheduled session. Please close private files and windows before the session begins. You may disconnect at any time.
Remote support is best effort and may not be suitable for hardware failures, internet issues, or severe system problems.

- Charge storage fees
- Recycle or dispose of the equipment
- Sell or use the equipment to recover unpaid charges

Cancellations and missed appointments
Life happens — if you need to cancel or reschedule, please give notice as early as you can.
Repeated cancellations, missed appointments, or last-minute changes may require a deposit, rescheduling, or refusal of future appointments at Tyler’s discretion.
Third-party services and accounts
Tyler may help you with Microsoft, Google, Apple, routers, printers, websites, hosting, domain and DNS, email, payment processors, and other third-party systems. Those services are controlled by third parties, not by Tyler’s Tech Services.
Tyler’s Tech Services is not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, account locks, pricing changes, lost passwords, or provider decisions.
AI, automation, and business technology guidance
For small business IT, automation, websites, or AI guidance, the advice provided is practical technical guidance — not legal, financial, tax, medical, or professional compliance advice.
You remain responsible for your business decisions, compliance obligations, data accuracy, and how tools are used.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Tyler’s Tech Services is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost business, lost data, lost use, or costs of substitute equipment or services.
Where liability cannot be excluded, liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim, to the extent allowed by law.
Texas law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. To the extent allowed by law, disputes will be handled in the courts serving Bell County, Texas.
Changes to these terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
